In the second decade of the 21st century we’re a bit beyond the “OMG It’s all going to explode!” stage.  We’ve been there a few times already and the planet is still spinning. And we’ve gotten past they “I wonder what it will look like?” stage because we’re here and this is what it looks like.  And it will look different/the same tomorrow, wash/rinse/repeat.

Matthew Taylor suggests that it’s time to look at the Enlightenment of the 21st Century critically and see not only where we are, but where we can be headed.  He’s suggesting that we move beyond the mythos we’ve been living with and start looking towards expanding more fully into a culture of empathy and reengage in asking why we do what we do and should we.
