This year, more so than ever, it’s important to get and stay grounded.  Horse is already stirring everything up, manifesting things willy nilly, setting everything in motion all and once and rolling in it.  Part of the challenge of working with Horse is to stay grounded and calm and centered while all this frolicking is going on.  Because if you don’t, you’ll get thrown…for a loop….and the grounding will happen to you with a certainty and suddenness that is not only painful, but also avoidable.

When I teach my Soul Book classes one of the first things I teach is grounding.  It’s something I have people do prior to meditation, not after.  Grounding after doing spiritual or energy work is somewhat like trying to close the barn door after the horse has gotten loose.  Grounding gives you stability, fills you with energy, allows you to push harder, go farther, experience more, and come back to yourself energized rather than drained.  Grounding allows you to work with the abundant energy of the Earth rather than with only your own resources.  Grounding allows you to be balanced as you add in the Universal energies of the Akashics to your being.  Grounding allows you to get there and home again without any spills or mishaps and feel better for the experience.

So too with life this year because things are on the fast track.  Horse is on the gallop already and people are starting to feel the effects.  So get grounded every morning, however that works for you.  Do some yoga, sit outside, take a walk, meditate, make breakfast from scratch while listening to thrash metal, dance until you feel yourself come alive and you can’t hold in the laughter and joy any more.  Get grounded.  Then go out into the world.

You can do this. 🙂
